Langdale Lodge Environmental Policy
We are lucky enough to live in a beautiful, natural environment so here at Langdale Lodge we try to look after what we have.

Here at Langdale Lodge we store the wood from around the lakes until it is sufficiently dried to use in our wood burning stove, this heats hot water and serves the heating system.
We use energy efficient light bulbs where possible.

We try to switch off lights in unoccupied rooms & request that our guests do the same.

We are always looking for ways to encourage wildlife to flourish at Langdale, through the management of the woodland and lakes, bird feeding and provision of nesting boxes.

Langdale Lodge is a non-smoking establishment.

Here are a few ways in which you can help us achieve our environmental aims:
Switch off the television when not in use.
Use the recycle dustbins.
Do not leave the tap running when you brush your teeth.
