Langdale Lakes near Lincoln, has been owned and run by Tony & Karen Bostock since June of 2005. We provide high quality bed & breakfast accommodation, a small and friendly touring caravan and camping site and a fishery near Lincoln where there is genuinely good Carp and Coarse fishing available from two very pretty lakes. The lakes are set within 8.5 acres of beautiful countryside where wildlife has been nurtured and encouraged for many years yet we are only 5 miles from the centre of Lincoln with its numerous tourist attractions and great shopping facilities. Langdale Lakes is for Adults only unless the young people are serious about fishing. This is because we do not have any facilities to keep young people occupied. Well behaved dogs are very welcome at both the caravan site and lakeside when fishing.

You can spend your time simply relaxing beside your caravan or tent or on one of the garden benches positioned around the mature, tree lined lakes. Alternatlively, visit the city of Lincoln, where there are many tourist attractions, a varied and modern shopping centre as you would expect in a quality city together with many small specialist shops, particularly around the Cathedral and Castle. The Lincolnshire Wolds and Coast are only a short drive away with wonderful villages and resorts that cater for all tastes.You can enjoy a great days fishing on one of the 40 generously spaced fishing pegs set around the two lakes. Each fishing peg has plenty of space for a two man bivvy and some can accommodate larger tents.  Flush toilets, showers and small kitchen are positioned near to the lakes for the comfort of campers, anglers and visitors. Some of our touring caravan pitches are sited right next to or very near to the lakes and all are equipped with electric hook up points.

High Quality Bed & Breakfast Rooms are Located on the Ground and First Floor levels of our New Home, the construction of which was completed in September of 2008. We have two en-suite bedrooms on the ground floor, one fitted as a double, the other as a twin. We have a further larger double room on the first fllor. All rooms are furnished to high standards with comfortable bedding and are equipped with freeview flat screen television, dvd player, free wireless broadband connection and unlimited tea & coffee, the en-suites are equipped with power showers.
Langdale Lodge is an ideal base to use for visiting Lincoln, the Lincolnshire Wolds, the Lincolnshire Coast or for simply having a relaxing and comfortable stay (not forgetting the fishing).
We are located just 5 miles from the centre of Lincoln with good hourly bus services to both Lincoln, Horncastle and the Coast, the bus stops right outside the driveway entrance.
Tony and Karen offer a free pick up & drop off service at Lincoln train station making this a very practical car free base for your holiday.
Our full cooked breakfast or lighter option is served in the dining room which has views over the lakes and our stock pond. There are two dining pubs in our village which cater for lunch and evening meals.                      
We charge £70.00 per night for two people sharing or £45.00 for single occupancy.

We have recently been assessed by "Quality in Tourism" and are proud to have been awarded 4 Stars for the standard of our Bed and Breakfast. "Quality in Tourism" is the assessment service provided by Visit England. The quality assessor books in and reserves a room in the normal way and stays to test all services together with the breakfast. They assess everything and only inform the establishment once they have completed their assessment (it is just like the Hotel Inspector series on the television).     Give us a ring and make your reservation, we are confident that you will not be dissapointed.

Our caravan and camping site can accommodate : Caravans,  Motor Homes, Tents and Camper Vans and all pitches have 16amp electric hook-up available if required. Our pitches are well spaced apart so that when you stay here you feel relaxed and comfortable. Some of our caravan and motorhome pitches are right next to the water and those that are not are not very far away. Camping pitches for tents are available around the lakes or on the main caravan areas. Toilet and shower facilities are located very close to each caravan area so you never have far to walk. For those of you who travel light, and only bring essential camping equipment, we have a small Kitchen equipped with a microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster, it also has a sink with hot running water.

Lily lake is just over 1.6 acres & has been established for over 100 years. It was originally excavated for gravel which was used to construct local railway embankments. It was stocked as a fishery in the early 60's by the then owner. Tony & Karen dredged & re-stocked the lake with a mix of beautiful Mirror Carp and Common Carp following the floods of June 2007. The lake has now been stocked again with a mix of Common Carp, Scaley Mirror Carp and mixed Coarse Fish Species. These Scaley Carp are absolutely beautiful. Lily Lake is a fun Carp lake with many upper doubles & a few into the twenties. The largest fish to be caught to date is a specimen of 26lb 11oz.
Tench and Bream run to 6lbs together with many Roach, Perch and Silver Fish Species make this a fun coarse fishing lake.
Depths vary between 3ft & 8ft & every peg has a wealth of features to target. The tree lined margins & lily beds ensure a relaxing days fishing or watching the varied wildlife. Please note our rules regarding minimum tackle requirements for this lake (see prices & rules).

We have stocked some new fish into Lily Lake. This Scaley Mirror Carp is just one of 87 good sized Carp introduced during February 2011. These fish vary in size from 8lbs to 20lbs and they are all as beautiful as this one. A mix of Common Carp and Mirror Carp will ensure a good days sport for all. Willow Lake at just over 1.4 acres is densely stocked with a mix of Coarse fish and Carp. It was formed following gravel extraction and was stocked with fish over 45 years ago. Tree lined margins and lily beds provide a natural environment for the fish and the abundant wildlife. There are many carp weighing between 3lb and 15lb together with Tench to 9lb, Bream to 9lb and a good head of Crucian Carp, Roach, Perch and Chub which are sure to provide hours of quality fishing. Depths vary between 2ft and 7ft and the bottom is predominantly clear of any weed. Willow lake is available for group bookings for a maximum of 12 people. This Lake is a heavily stocked lake and has been managed over the last five years to increase the average weight of the fish stocks. This management continues to ensure that the lake contains good size specimens of all the species stocked.
